Patricia Oplotnik, known to hundreds of dancers and teachers as “Fast Pat”, is a national officer for Dance Masters of America and served as an Artist in Residence in Tap and Tap Pedagogy for seventeen years at the Ann Lacy School for Dance and Arts Management housed at Oklahoma City University. She also founded and directed Applause Studios in Oklahoma City for 30 years.

 

Fast Pat has trained the world’s only two time female solo champion to win both the Junior and Senior titles within the same year and placed a number of students on the prestigious US Tap Team. A licensed International Tap Judge Patricia adjudicates and teaches throughout the United States. Her single sound system of teaching tap has received accolades by teachers, students, and professional dancers alike and she is now sharing that system on her new DVD’s.
